The Appearance setting lets each user customize their own workspace. You can switch between light and dark mode and choose an accent color. These preferences are personal — they apply only to your account and have no effect on what other staff or patients see.
All staff roles can access Appearance settings to personalize their own workspace.

Theme

Switch between Light, Dark, and System modes:

Accent color

Choose an accent color that appears on active navigation items, buttons, and highlights throughout the interface. Select from the preset palette or enter a custom hex value.
If your clinic has specific brand colors, you can set your accent to match — though this only affects your own view, not the clinic-wide theme (which is controlled in Clinic Profile).

Live Preview

The Appearance preview now shows your colour scheme on a miniature version of the actual app — a little sidebar, a few cards, a chart and a list row — so you can see exactly how your theme and accent will look before you save. Arrange the sidebar so the screens you use most sit where you want them, under Settings → Appearance → Sidebar order:
  • Drag to reorder. Drag any sidebar item into the order you prefer.
  • One-click presets. Front Desk, Chairside and Billing rearrange everything instantly to suit each way of working, and Reset puts the standard order back.
  • Presets only reorder. They rearrange what your plan and role already show — they never add or remove items.
Your sidebar order saves to your account and follows you to every device.

Resetting to defaults

Click Reset to Default to return to the standard theme and accent color. The clinic-wide default theme is Light with the OdontoX blue accent.
